Since its release in 2020, the iPhone has been distinguished by its MagSafe technology (a magnetic component that enables wireless charging, snap-shut connection to wallets, and other features). This breakthrough function has created an ecosystem of peripherals, such as chargers, wallets, and protective cases, elevating the convenience of the renowned gadget.
MagSafe is a feature available on all Apple smartphones after the iPhone 12 and should be used if you possess an iPhone 13, iPhone 14, or higher-end iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro. Because most of us cannot leave the house without our phone and wallet, there is no better way to take advantage of this technology than with one of the finest MagSafe wallets available.
The above-mentioned accessories employ embedded magnets to attach to your iPhone, whether or not you have a suitable cover. To evaluate which MagSafe wallets are worth snapping onto your phone, we examined items from top manufacturers like as Apple, Casetify, OtterBox, and Spigen, among others.

What to Consider
CAPACITY
Even the greatest MagSafe wallet available cannot completely replace your old wallet; this is the most crucial thing you should know before purchasing one. Many wallets, notably the renowned Apple MagSafe, can hold many cards and cash. Consider using a larger wallet case, such as the Peak Design mobile wallet, to store more cards alongside your iPhone.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
Consider additional features like an integrated viewing stand based on your specific demands. The same is true for the materials used to develop and create the items. Spending extra on a MagSafe wallet will result in a nicer product with higher-quality materials and greater attention to detail.
How We Selected
MagSafe gadgets were essential to my daily routine in late 2020, when the magnetic iPhone accessory ecosystem was in its early stages. MagSafe wallets immediately became my favorites, allowing me to ditch my second wallet and simplify my daily carry arrangement.
We were able to considerably minimize the number of cards we carry by relying only on Apple Pay for in-person purchases and commutes. Nonetheless, we always leave home with an ID, a payment card, and a card for entering the office.
Tech editor Stefan Vazharov and freelance journalist Sal Vaglica curated a list of MagSafe wallets in various form factors that have impressed them in recent years. Every item on this list has been linked to our iPhone on a regular basis for weeks or months, providing us with ample time and usage situations to assess its design, durability, and ergonomics. We examined some of the entrants' declared maximum card capacity to see how well they perform in real-world circumstances.

Peak Design Mobile Wallet
PROS
- Ample card capacityEasy card retrievaExcellent warranty
- Stronger hold when paired with Peak Design’s proprietary iPhone case
CONS
- Can be bulkier than other wallets when fullMagnet is not the strongest when attached directly to the phone
Aesthetically, the Peak Design wallet, which comes in five colors, stands out from the crowd with a woven, canvas appearance, despite the fact that the casing is relatively smooth. We were only able to fit six cards inside it, not the seven claimed by the maker. But it was the ease of retrieval that made this MagSafe wallet so enjoyable to use—simply push your cards in and they rest on a nylon band. When you need to retrieve something, simply flip up the tab and tug it up; all of the cards appear as you pull, allowing you to shuffle through them at a look. The wallet's cover also has a magnet, so it almost always shuts itself.
Moft Magsafe Wallet Card Holder
PROS
- Affordable
- Slim yet versatile
- Excellent viewing stand
CONS
- Lacks RFID protection
MOFT's MagSafe wallet is the greatest option for a low-cost upgrade. The wallet's metal hinge, which you must flip open to access your cards, is strong enough to hold the phone at practically any angle between 110 and 180 degrees, depending on the model. This is a useful feature for users who keep their iPhones on a desk where they can be quickly unlocked with face recognition, or for those who work near windows and must move the phone during the day to compensate for glare.
During everyday usage, this was the most comfortable MagSafe wallet we tested. The vegan leather has no texture that might grasp the inside of our pockets, and the small profile adds very little bulk. The MOFT was the heaviest wallet we examined, weighing 75 grams, but not notably heavy. The two cards are totally safe in the case, and you may use Apple Pay even when the wallet is in place.

Rokform Fuzion Magnetic Wallet
PROS
- The strongest magnet in the business
- Superb card cabacity
- Sleek and tough
- Handy viewing stand
CONS
- Doesn't fully enclose your cards
- Pricey
If you're frequently worried about accidently separating your MagSafe cardholder from your iPhone (e.g., during concerts, festivals, sporting events), the Rokform Fuzion is the ideal MagSafe wallet for you. Magmax's inbuilt magnet kept it securely connected to my iPhone despite multiple unintentional accidents.
The Fuzion can strengthen its connection with a Rokform iPhone cover, which may surprise you. For science, I tested the arrangement by chucking a fake iPhone with case and wallet down a long flight of stairs. To my astonishment, the cardholder did not split throughout this violent drop.
